Yesterday, we tried to go to this playground at our favorite park:

but it was WAY too hot and sunny. The ground was hot, we forgot to bring the little kids shoes and the playground slides were hot enough to melt thighs so I promised the kids we'd go today.

It was still very hot and humid today even at 8am but the kids were not disappointed. This playground is one of he coolest I've seen with some very unique play equipment. Even in the heat the kids played longer than I expected before calling it quits. Lucky for us the weather is getting back down into the 60's-70's the rest of the week so I promised them we would come back again. Why do I keep making these promises?
