My Weirdest Child

This is Hamilton:

Snack cup ankle bracelet, it's all the rage amongst toddlers.
He wore it all afternoon.

He enjoys wrestling with his older brothers, drinking milk and attempting to give sloppy kisses to strangers.  He did that last one to the secretary at The Boys summer school today.  He often does it to the greeters and cashiers at Walmart.

Ham is by far our weirdest child.  At least once a day he does something that causes Jed and I to look at each other like, "WTF is with this kid?" He does things that none of our other kids have ever thought to do.

For example this happened the yesterday:

Hamilton:  (Hollering from our bedroom)  Haydee Baby!  Haydee Baby! Come see this!
Hayden:  (In the living room refusing to go)
Me:  Come out here, Ham!
Hamilton:  Oh, OK!  (Runs into the living room)

This is what he wanted to show Hayden:

Weirdo and proud of it!

He was just sitting in our room watching cartoons, sticking pretzels in his ears.  Came up with this all on his own.  He was so proud.

Here's another example of his weirdness. As we were running late to The Boys first day of summer school, Ham decided he HAD to wear a Minion sock on his left hand.  Hayden of course had to follow suit by wearing a random sock on her right hand.  Imagine that for a moment.  Crazed mom, dragging 4 kids around the school trying to figure out where her 2 older kids are supposed to be while the younger 2 kids are wearing socks on their hands.  As if my carnival of kids isn't crazy enough Ham has to add his special kind of weirdness to the mix.

Today's weirdness went like this:

Ham:  (Coming around the corner out of our bedroom pulling something)  Walkin' my goggie (doggie)
Me: What?
Ham:  I walkin' my goggie. (Pull, tug, yank on what I realize is the top sheet of our bed).  Where's my goggie?  (Jed and I looking at each other like WTF?  Ham, runs back into our room, comes out with a pillow.  Wraps the pillow in the top sheet).  Walkin' my goggie!

Walkin' the goggie

He dragged his "goggie" all around the house until his other siblings caught on and ruined his fun.

I am really happy that he is a creative free spirited kid.  Even when his weirdness causes us to be late for school and creates more laundry for me.  So here's to Ham, keeping it weird.

Hat with matching purse and tutu around the neck.
This was just before we moved out of our old house.
