The beaches around here have been red flagged since Friday because of all the storms we've had. The warning continues through midnight tonight. On our evening walk we could see why the warning was still in place. The waves were the biggest we've ever seen. Check out these photos.
The boys were so excited they were literally jumping up and down watching the huge waves come in. Check out this series of photos. I love the last one, it shows Park's pure excitement.
The waves were crashing so hard we could feel the spray all the way up the embankment. Let me tell you it's not a small embankment either. We're going to go to the beach first thing tomorrow morning to see what kind of treasures the waves have brought in for us. Provided the warning has lifted.
