Much like Summerfest, everyone around here has a boner for Kopp's, a burger and custard joint that is local famous. The family we bought our house from gave us a $50 gift certificate to Kopp's.

We finally got to Kopp's today. Surprisingly, the place was crazy busy at 2p on a Sunday. I thought we'd beat the crowd but boy was I wrong. I should have done a little more research because I thought it was a sit down type place. It was not. It's just a counter where you order. The only place to sit was a neat little courtyard with a waterfall and benches. The kids really liked the waterfall. There are 2 other locations around the city but our neighbor said that this is the best one for kids, he wasn't wrong about that.

We ordered 2 HUGE burgers, fries, onion rings, 2 1-scoops of grasshopper, 1 2-scoops of triple chocolate and 2 pops for only half our gift card so we get to go here again sometime. All the food was really good. We'll definitely go back but I'm going to research a less busy time.

The sun had been shining beautifully on the waterfall but by the time I got all 4 kids to cooperate it was too late.
Still not too bad.
